Various customers, including other authors and local politicians - just had to have it. Author John A. Andrews’ captivating on-camera-interview about this new volume brought cheers and congratulatory remarks from the diverse crowd.

The craving for what readers are calling “the recipe” continues - evidenced by the sale of that last copy to a middle-aged single male attending the event . On the other hand most locals may have to wait a few days for additional copies of the book.

Before wrapping the event some two hours later, I noticed that she was not only still holding the book in her hands but was joined by four other women - all in their late 20’s to early 30’s. I stepped into their space and after introducing myself, joined their huddle. I asked where everyone was in their relationships with a significant other. I learned that two of them were married, two were still single and one was going through a divorce – they weren’t very passionate about their relational status.

The woman going through her divorce asked me what motivated me to write such a book. I responded enthusiastically: “Doctors go to school for a reason, so do lawyers, pastors keep studying in order to remain on the pulpit but we fail to work on our relationships on a daily basis. Many of us fall in love and expect that osmosis will pull every-thing together. It doesn’t - It can’t.” She sobbingly echoed: “where were you a year ago.” That hit home. A year too late I pondered - her marriage would have been saved. Writing this workbook was inescapable!
